Gunner Palace and Ratings

Gunner Palace just received a "R" rating from the MPAA.
I've seen the film, and that's unbelievably absurd.
Some other folks agree, and I hope you do too. If you do, click here, and go sign the petition to get it the PG-13 rating it deserves.

Opinion from a combat veteran (Kosovo), which I heard second-hand:
The show sucks. The major is a lousy leader, the engagements suggest that there is never discipline in combat, the show makes the US army look unprofessional (unfairly).
Haven't seen it. But these seem like more substantive issues with the show than the profanity.
