New Mass Grave Discovered in Muthanna, Iraq
by Joe Katzman at May 11, 2005 5:44 AM
A mass grave was recently discovered in the southern Iraqi province of Muthanna. The majority of the Iraqis in the mass grave were Kurdish women and children who were butchered. Blackfive has some details, a still shot, and a link to a video.
He also notes that 182,000 Kurds remain unaccounted for....
Just remember that the people fighting the coalition are exactly equivalent to the American Minutemen. Michael Moore said so. {/bittersarcasm}
That happened more than 15 years ago by Iraqi soldiers (including a lot of Shiite). Doubt that a lot of the fighting resistance was out of diapers back then
ps. so were are all the Indians or should i assume that the Sunni resistance have less blood on their hands than the minutemen.
Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
Finally, note that a constant onslaught of Trackback spams from auto-generated blogspot blogs has forced Winds to ban the blogspot.com domain from use in comments or trackbacks. If you host on blogspot, consider moving; otherwise, the complaints need to be directed at Google not us.
