Sounds simple, doesn't it?
One of the most despicable aspects of modern Islamism is the way it targets children for brainwashing to make them aspire to suicide-murder. To call this "child abuse" is both true and inadequate. It is evil, in and of itself. That a religion of the G-d of Abraham should be used as a cloak by an idolatry, complete with fire-mawed gods and child sacrifice as a totemic fetish, simply makes it worse. Good people like Irshad Manji and my friend Adil Farooq are appalled - but so far, they aren't the ones in charge.
I could say "one wonders what the Islamists are thinking," but I don't. Wonder, I mean. We've done the research on Winds of Change.NET - and it isn't pretty.

Deliberately cultivated death-wish mentalities and hate aren't a side effect - they're the primary engine of present and future conflict. To say that they will go away when the conflict ends is to reverse cause and effect. If we want the conflicts to end, the process needs to begin by ending the organized hate - or it's a sham.
If you teach and preach hate, there cannot be peace in your future.
Teach. Kids. Peace.
Of course peace is potentially wonderful, but it also can be blinding, meaningless, and even suicidal.
Responsible freedom is the ultimate goal. And it requires self-defense.
