Just a thought. It appears as though the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency has post-storm imagery of the affected areas in the Gulf Coast. It would be very useful if this data was inserted into the Google Satellite mapping system.
I know people with family in Cajun country, gone missing. It would be helpful to look at where they live. I hope Google is on this.

Google maps are usually several months old. They may try to update them with the emergency, but that is up to the provider...which is not Google.
