On Tuesday, 'Cicero' talked about Google Earth. About how cool it was - and also about the quiet implications of formerly-private things being exposed to one and all.
Allow me to inroduce you to another online repository of cool. One that's cool precisely because it exposes formerly private things to the world. PostSecrets, you see, is all about postcards. simple postcards, mailed to the site for scanning and posting... with messages its senders have never revealed to anyone.
They span the gamut, from regret, to humour, to pathos, to risque. Some cards are generic. Many are custom. Eventually, the blog project acquired enough to put out a book.
Check it out. I think it's pretty cool.

"It is cool."
So sayeth Cicero. Funny how I didn't even know this was going on.
Reading these secrets is like being in a room full of anti-Bush Democrats and thinking secret thoughts.
Maybe there's a good postcard in that idea...
Love this site. If you like postsecret you may enjoy www.grouphug.us and www.e-closure.com
one's secrets, the other is breakup letters. Both great voyeuristic time killers.
Honey...your're not alone. Don't worry you will fine that special preson:)
