Over at Tacitus.org, M. Scott Eiland has a set of predictions that I generally agree with, along with picks for the AL and NL MVP and Cy Young awards.
For another viewpoint, ESPN's Jay Stark explains why this could be the Boston Red Sox's year. Very good for its ability to highlight other teams' weak spots, but Boston has a couple big question marks too, and bipolar team peformance. Anybody can win. But even without bringing superstition into this, I can't pick Boston this year.

Stark has nothing to lose by predicting a Sox series win.
If they win, he looks like a genius with giant cojones.
If they lose, he shrugs: "Well, I guess there really is a Curse."

Chicken! Afraid of being just another hunk of Red Sox Hopeful roadkill? Heh.
yeah, anyone can say the sox, but in the end the yankee's are not going to let the sox beat them again. anyway the sox and yankees games are better than the world series. so to all of you die hard yankee fans like me and die hard sox fans, see you this fall in a bar somewhere.
