What. A. Day. Carnival of the Vanities #42, chock-full of gems covering life, the universe, and everything. The Iranian July 9 Carnival of the Liberties, whose shout of "Azadi!" resounded throughout the bologsphere. A guest blog over at Pejman's site, talking about how we - and Iranian bloggers, too - see The Other, and need to see better.
Sometime tonight while I sleep, Winds of Change.NET will serve up Page View #1,000,000. Several bloggers I know passed that milestone a while ago, but for me it's an improbable level of success in just 15 months.
Many people made that success possible. Most of our hits have come since the transition to a team format in January of 2003, and that team is now bigger and better with our regular world briefings. Yesterday's events, which put us over the top, required major contributions from people all over the blogosphere. Then there are our readers. Not only did they create this success, they give us a comments section so good that it regularly spawns full-fledged guest blogs from its contents.
To all of you, my profound thanks. A million thanks, to match the thanks you've given to our team and our vision here at Winds of Change.NET.
