Joe, if you must consort with the Austrians, at least read Mike Shedlock explain why Peter Schiff was wrong. Schiff hardly comes out looking better than Bernanke; his rightness is arguably of the stopped-clock variety.
More credible prescients include Noriel Roubini of course - but you should also read his co-author and colleague Brad Setser explain what they got wrong, too - here and here. Breathtakingly honest, that Setser. Sadly he's going to work for Obama.
I will fearlessly predict here that the new bubble will inflate for a while on expectations that the co-dependent capture - the strange condominium of power which has been struck between Wall St and DC - will hold long enough for another long slurp at the trough.
The moment for real reform came and went before Spring.
