Today is the 1st Anniversary for Carnival of the Vanities, a weekly cyberspace festival that lets blogs submit their best posts to receive wider recognition and traffic. It's especially helpful to smaller blogs looking to build an audience, and Bigwig has done yeoman's service setting up the process and the hosting roster. We hosted #42 right here, and we'll also host the "Christmas Spirit Carnival" on Dec. 24th.
Three cheers for Bigwig, who hosts the anniversary edition today at his own blog. Hip, hip, hooray... and a Medal of Service award on the Winds of Change.NET blogroll.

Cool site! Check out my new blog, Mousepads, Shoe Leather, and Hope - The Great Grassroots Campaign. Also, check out my Dean stores, The Great Grassroots Campaign and You Have The Power. The proceeds from the shop will be given to the new Generation Dean chapter on campus. If you feel like linking to any of the sites I gave you, I'd be happy to add a link to your site on my blog. Keep up the good work with your site.
Hmm, Laura is obviously a new reader. Don't think she'll find lots of people here who want Howard Dean T-shirts. Even Klaatu supports Wes Clark.
Actually, she seems to be some sort of comment spammer. I've seen exactly the same comment both at my own blog and at Matthew Yglesias' website. One would think she'd at least have tried to disguise things a little bit by tweaking the message a tad.
