Timothy Childs is used to working at companies that make virtual reality software and workflow products for NASA. He's a little out of his element these days, since he just co-founded a company to produce high-end chocolates. Rafe Needleman says "this startup looks like a lot of cub technology companies," and so it does. Their work automating a difficult process / algorithm helps them use very expensive ingredients while keeping prices within reason, and some of Timothy Childs' ideas on growing his business are intriguing. Which is nice, but I'm thinking in more practical terms here. Since the first thing they did is build a web site that takes on line orders for their super-premium chocolate and offers emailable gift certificates, and since Valentine's Day is approaching quickly...
