So, my friend Howard Lastman is a lawyer here in Toronto. He's had a hard go of it over the last few years, but recently he went up against Revenue Canada (our IRS) - and won decisively. His client not only won, Revenue Canada ended up paying his legal costs! Loved this excerpt, as the Judge describes Revenue Canada's position. Ouch!
