Bangor's tag line is "Shining Full Plate and a Good Broadsword: A Lone Paladin in Good Company." Interesting angles on current events, well written. This is one Paladin I wouldn't mind having in my party. Here are a few reasons why: * His recent post on why 'international law' from a central body is worse than useless: We're Still At War. Nice to see history brought into the analysis - that seems all too rare in the ever-instant blogosphere. * "Antisemitism via Proxy: The case for Liberal Nazism". Shines a light on a growing climate of hatred, with some characteristics and beliefs that look familiar. He's really talking about left-wingers, though, and that's still a distinction worth making. See also his follow-up. * Just to drive his point home, "In Reply: Richard Ingrams and Al Guardian" discusses a Guardian columnist who openly avows that he won't listen to Jews... and amidst the silence that greets this statement, Bangor takes it to its logical conclusions. Provocative takes, fearless, good writer. Always room for more of those.

Come Home to a Blog Promotion from Shining full plate and a good broadsword
Excerpt: ...so I came home tonight and what do I see? I drop my broadsword down and my helmet (that is what servants are for), rub my eyes, and clank on over to look at my logs. Server net spikes. Comments....

The We're Still At War link seems to have gone sour. This should work. http://www.nerra.com/broadsword/tomes/000100.html

And it looks like the other 2 links are screwed up to. I'll leave it to someone else to figure those out. (The "follow-up" link goes to the "Antisemitism via Proxy" post)

He moved his server from his desktop to a real host, and that broke all the numbering. Sir Banagor explains it all on the new blog location at Bloghosts.com. I've gone to the new blog and tried to fix the links, hope it works now.

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:

*This* puts text in bold.

_This_ puts text in italics.

bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.

To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
