Want to get rich? Clayton Cramer has an excellent series of posts on how to do it the slow, methodical, responsible, grownup way. For some people the information presented will already be familiar, but all of it is advice that I really wish I'd had (or listened to) when I first moved out of my parents' house and got four credit cards.
Eight years later, it amazes me how very little I understood about budgeting, saving for retirement, managing credit, etc... even worse, I appeared to be a lot better prepared than most folks. If you're just leaving the nest, or about to go off to college, or you don't have all of your bills in order, or if you have children getting ready to start out on their own, this is good reading.

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
