Iran and al-Qaeda
by Joe Katzman at May 26, 2003 2:51 PM
Dan Darling neatly packages recent news related to Iran and al-Qaeda, and the recent shift in policy away from engagement toward a policy of active destabilization.
ly, I suspect that Iranian activities in Iraq have more to do with this shift than anything else. Iran's role in terrorism within Saudi Arabia dates back to the Khobar Towers bombing, and their shady ties to al-Qaeda aren't exactly news to those who follow such things. Winds of Change was talking about this back in July.
Faster, please.

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
Finally, note that a constant onslaught of Trackback spams from auto-generated blogspot blogs has forced Winds to ban the blogspot.com domain from use in comments or trackbacks. If you host on blogspot, consider moving; otherwise, the complaints need to be directed at Google not us.
