Steven Den Beste of USS Clueless often has stuff that's very worth reading. His latest couple of posts ("Starting to Move" | "White-Hot Rhetoric") capture, with very few exceptions, my take on the coming war in Iraq.
I think Steven will be surprised by the French, who have been making different noises since the Socialists failed to even make the run-off in the recent French elections (can't believe I'm saying this, but... merci beaucoup, Monsieur Le Pen). It won't matter, though, because others will surely play their intended role. On all other points, I think he's right on target.
I'm going to go on record with this one, and call a November start date for full-scale hostilities with Iraq. As Winds of Change pointed out on August 20, small-scale hostilities have already started.

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
