What a day. I feel wrung out, still. To be honest, I haven't really done much sleeping either. Suspect a few of you are the same way. It's time to take one last look, and resolve never to forget... and start looking again to what we must now do, rather than what was done to us.
Many people needed yesterday to unfold the way it did. Needed to remember, at a time when the immediacy of events no longer left them numb. Remembering is the way a democracy processes an event like this, rallies, comes together. I hope it helped many begin to find some peace.
Now, can we all agree to get serious about making sure that never, ever hapens again? Really serious? Thank you.
One ultra-grande size can of whup-ass, comin' up!

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
