Did you get some? I remember them too, and your post inspired me to blog it too and note the changes in Mothers ownership over the years, as described in the linked SFgate story. It's interesting/amusing/odd(?) that there's even a Parmalat connection.
I may join you in heading to my local stores to seek remaining inventory, even though I haven't had any in years. If you get some, I hope you can post whether the cookies still have tasty trans fats in the ingredient listing. My memory is that they used to, but I haven't checked since the trans fat was taken out of everything else.
