Props to the attendees at the L.A. bloggers Sunday get-together. Since our designated location was closed, we reorganized quickly and I ended up experiencing the California Pizza Kitchen in the Wells Fargo Tower. Not exactly standard Italian, more like a California cultural experience.
Those present at the hastily-convened gathering included: a mystery Irish guest who shall remain anonymous, the lovely and dangerous Inkgrrl, Stephen Blackmoore of Shadowshow (author of The Paintball Oath), plus Robert Tagorda and his lovely wife, who gets to remain anonymous because she isn't a blogger. Hat Tip to the incomparable Pejman for the idea. It was a great evening of drink, food and laughter - and very little in the way of political discussion. There are more things in heav'n and earth....

Wish I could have made it up there. You had a couple of my favorite people with you and you know I wanted to give you a great big squishy hug!
And Da Goddess gives great squishy hugs too! 'Twas wonderful in the best ways to meet you and put a charming face to the name, as well as to get the dirt on the wedding and assorted nonesuches... utterly fictionalized accounts written entirely for entertainment purposes only to follow.
We understand - moving sucks.
Crossing my fingers and hoping there's a next time in our future, so you can be there. L.A. ain't among my favourite things, but some of the people in it certainly are.
