On "The Baghdad mayor was deposed by force of Shi'ite militia" be carful with the NY Times, especially their loose use of terms. They've been getting a lot worse about that lately. If you read the article carfully, and also CNN and BBC reports, you'll see the guy who was 'deposed' was actually fired by the government, and the 'shiite militia' are actually goverment security. The mayor himself has about 100 bodyguards, as does the chief of the city councel who came to give him his notice, due to their being a war on. That's the reason for the 'gunmen', as the NY Times called them.

A government official being removed from office in accordance with legitimate government authority to do so, does not a 'coup' make.

Great Blog, But you kind of pooh poohed the Able Danger story. It is very important if the commission that was tasked with investigating the intelligence failures leading to 911 knew of this information and did not report on it. It makes the whole exercise a farce and escalates the steady erosion in faith most of us "little people" have in our government. Someone needs to answer some questions on this one and some people need to be held accountable. We prosecute our troops for being too hard on the enemy, How about prosecuting our government bureaucrats for malfeasance?

I agree completely that all officials from the Clinton administration who are implicated by malfeasance in the Able Danger affair should be prosecuted to the full extent under the law.

“Islamic terrorists” slogan might seem rational for those true believers who are willing to villify Muslims to steal their oil, subjugate their government and crucify their radical intellectuals.
Since 911the world has been duped in believing that Middle Eastern Muslim men were the perpetrators of crime against America and therefore they must be collectively punished. That is why two countries are brutally invaded, hundreds of thousands of Muslims are massacred, millions of families have been driven to homelessness all because of a lie. Now the London Terrorists are manufactured by the British Intelligence to increase the popularity of Blaire, impose draconian laws on Britons and curtail Civil liberties of whoever looks “Middle Eastern”, the real terrorists must be exposed in order to end this historical madness.

Four years have past since the Tragedy of 911was maliciously blamed on the Muslim World. No one questioned the fact that in the multifaceted and divergent Muslim World 99 percent have not heard of Al Quadae and had nothing to do with it. Moreover no one questioned the fact that Al Qaeda was a CIA Data Base formed solely to oppose communism. similar to Muslim Brotherhood formed by British intelligence decades ago. Amidst the war cry for revenge the truth was lost and the investigation stopped. No one looked for the real perpetrators of 911. The Case was tried by the mass media ,. Overnight an army of no-nothing academia and pundits were created as “Terror Experts”. Then the propaganda machine began the war cry . The so-called “War on Terror” was coined, marketed and sold to the world and now after hundreds of thousands death , millions of Tons of WMD bomb drops on the middle East in a Tsunami of Death we are assumed to accept that the war is over and swallow the newly invented phrase of “ global struggle against violent extremism” over night. It is not coincidental that the U.S. administration coined the new slogan before the London Bombing and start marketing it right after.

It is high time to tear the curtain of deceit and expose the imperialism of terror which under the guise of the “war on terror” has terrorized the world for the past four years. It is time to question the facts as they unfold by the media and distinguish news from propaganda and political spins from academic discussions. In the same manner that in 911 a CIA Security training Exercises was underway to cover the actual event, * A security training exercise. This variant has already been flagged by skeptics. In it the dupes were offered good money to be "the enemy" in a security training exercise played out in the underground and were naive enough to believe the recruiter. They would have been engaged as actors and told they were only required to carry the backpacks to certain destinations to see if they could get them through the security people under training who had been given the “profile” of a suspect. They would also have been told that, for security reasons, they were not under any circumstances to talk to anybody else about the exercise. As a further precaution they would have been told they’d only be informed of their destination when they were briefed at Kings Cross station. They would probably have been told to meet back at the station for a debriefing. Such exercises are a normal part of security training, but we might question whether, in the atmosphere generated by Britain’s role in Iraq, four young Muslims would have been happy to take part.

A consultancy agency with government and police connections was running an exercise for an unnamed company that revolved around the London Underground being bombed at the exact same times and locations as happened in real life on the morning of July 7th.

The fact that the exercise mirrored the exact locations and times of the bombings is light years beyond a coincidence. Power said the drill focused around 'simultaneous bombings'. At first the bombings were thought to have been spread over an hour, but the BBC reports just today that the bombings were in fact simultaneous.

The British SIS or one of their private companies offshoots could have hired Mr. Power and Visor Consultants to run the exercise. The exercise fulfils several different goals. It acts as a cover for the small compartmentalized government terrorists to carry out their operation without the larger security services becoming aware of what they're doing, and, more importantly, if they get caught during the attack or after with any incriminating evidence they can just claim that they were just taking part in the exercise.

This is precisely what happened on the morning of 9/11/2001. The CIA was conducting drills of flying hijacked planes into the WTC and Pentagon at 8:30 in the morning. It is clear that at least five training exercises were in operation in the days leading up to and on the morning of 9/11. This meant that NORAD radar screens showed as many as 22 hijacked airliners at the same time. NORAD had been briefed that this was part of the exercise drill and therefore normal reactive procedure was forestalled and delayed. That is why the Jet interceptors did not shoot the plains.
