Some terrorist hotspots seem to be local. Like the University of California at Berkeley campus, which has English courses (?!?) about the Palestinian intifada that openly glorify terrorism. The course calendar also states that those with dissenting views should find another course.
Of course this is outrageous. Yes, the connection to SFSU's events - and to anti-Jewish violence on Berkeley's own campus - is clear. Still, the proper response to the ridiculous is often ridicule. Fellow Canadian blogger Happy Fun Pundit almost always makes me laugh, and he doesn't disappoint with his recent "Berkeley assignment submission." I wonder if his ode to suicide bombing would get him an "A"? It certainly beats the Saudi Ambassador to Britain's recent work.
To prove it, we offer a Happy Fun Pundit excerpt:
I want to launch my finger tips,Here at Winds of Change, we try not to end on a down note >:->
Far up in the sky,
I want to disconnect my lips,
And kiss my ass goodbye.

Here are some quick tips for adding simple Textile formatting to your comments, though you can also use proper HTML tags:
*This* puts text in bold.
_This_ puts text in italics.
bq. This "bq." at the beginning of a paragraph, flush with the left hand side and with a space after it, is the code to indent one paragraph of text as a block quote.
To add a live URL, "Text to display":http://windsofchange.net/ (no spaces between) will show up as Text to display. Always use this for links - otherwise you will screw up the columns on our main blog page.
