N.Z. Bear ran a bit where he invited bloggers to channel their favourite heroes and explain why they would support George W. Bush. I understand what he was trying to do, but many were kind of lame. Some were ok, but 3 posts really stood out:

• Protein Wisdom's MAD Magazine takeoff using Alfred E. Neuman. Pretty good, but would have been even more brilliant if he had put Kerry in Alfred E's place and kept the traditional slogan.

• The Tick. If you've seen the cartoon, this will crack you up regardless of political affiliation.

• Daisy Cutter channels Herman Munster. Another cross-party crack-up.

Maybe these guys can help convince Jane Galt which way to vote. Her "I'm undecided, convince me" post has a very good comments section that tries (seriously) to do just that, and is worth a read for some of the thoughtful responses in it - especially the ones about wars and expectations.
